Transition into the Secondary School community can often be daunting for students. We endeavour to take the stress and anxiety out of this change with an orientation program focused on students’ feelings of belonging to the ¹ú²úÊÓƵºÏ¼¯ learning community. It is also the beginning in a student’s development on the pathway to the Core Values which our College teaches: Godly in Character, Lifelong Learner, Socially Engaged, Collaborative and Creative and Critical Thinker.
Each student will participate in a wide range of subjects that will stimulate and challenge them. These subjects come from all of the Key Learning Areas and begin a student’s pathway to taking greater responsibility for their learning. We also provide avenues for students to pursue their interests in Sport, Drama, Music, Public Speaking and Debating.
The opportunities are wide and varied for all students. Students who thrive in their learning are those who have the courage to seek to do their best and attempt things at which they do not necessarily excel. It is through mistakes we learn and thrive. At ¹ú²úÊÓƵºÏ¼¯, we create a safe caring environment that allows students to try different experiences and enjoy their success.
